Nayanika Bharadwaj
I thrive in the intersection between connecting the dots and choosing the colour to connect the dots with.
At 26, my work includes commercial, analytic thinking and creative settings and interfaces, across e-com, supply chains, SaaS, and artisanal and circular economies. I love digging into systems, theories, policies, processes and histories and using words, maps, drawings and colour to deconstruct and discuss them.
With an academic background in fashion design, I graduated with a Distinction, from the inter-disciplinary MA Fashion Futures program at London College of Fashion in 2019, which looks at sustainability and futures thinking for the fashion industry through a critical, speculative and immersive lens.
I currently work at Wolf & Badger in a diverse role in marketing. Previous research includes projects for the Centre for Sustainable Fashion, 200 Million Artisan's Business of Handmade Project and the Indian State government's Ministry of Textiles. In 2020, I was one of 12 people across the UK selected for the first cohort of FashMash's Young Pioneers mentorship program.
Outside work, I'm always looking for something new to learn, do or make – feel free to reach out to discuss anything exciting!
